We are thrilled to announce that neat bird has leased 4,000 square feet at 565 Belaire Avenue. The restaurant is the next creative platform for Chef Eric Nelson of crudo nudo in Norfolk. He describes the neat bird concept as “the perfect combination of the things that most of us crave all the time: fried chicken (done right), whiskey simple (and also a full bar), fresh salads and vegetables (because everything won’t be fried), and sandwiches that aren’t boring (we get creative). The people of neat bird (the staff and the guests) are the kind of people we crave all the time too: hospitality driven, casual, family-like and friendly. neat bird is going to be the kind of place that you want to hang out and tell your friends about. The kind of place you come after work (or during work, for lunch). It’ll be a break from the boring with the creature comforts of a menu that you can enjoy dining in or bringing home.
